Our photoshoots are transformative experiences that help women to change the way she feels about herself by changing the way she sees herself.
Playing with fantasy, costumes and wings is a beautiful part of our glamour shoots, they allow a woman to embrace aspects of herself that are usually hidden away.
You can literally see the difference fall over a woman, in her posture and confidence once she put on a pair of wings, reclaiming her power.
Wings carry a variety of associations, they may accompany images of angels, faeries, goddesses and demons.
In this blog we have several examples of different types of wings that we have played with to create our fantasy glamour portraits.
The avenging Archangel

The Dark Angel
Fallen into shadows, Embracing the dark side to gain power and confidence.
Dangerous, demonic, and seductive. breaker of rules and conformity.
The Ethereal Golden goddess
The glowing golden angel of of goodness, harmony, cleansing, glowing with the golden light of the heavens.
Combined with golden silk, flowing gowns and crowns I think of these women like elegant goddesses from mythology.
The Faerie
Faerie wings can be playful, diaphanous, magical and mischievous. Faeries can trick and entice you into their otherworldly lairs with their glittery beauty.
They are cheeky, colourful and wild!
Fantasy glamour reflects that part of you that you might not show everyday but appears at different times of your life.
The Butterfly
Butterfly wings have connotations of transformation, change, renewal and healing. They are decorative, colourful and ever changing.
Victorias Secret
Combining a set of wings with Lingerie we also think of the famous Victoria Secret fashion shows, of gorgeous models strutting sexily down a runway, With gigantic wings flowing behind them as they walked with such confidence.
You could play with different coloured outfits playing with light vs dark concepts.
Other ideas would be to look for butterfly or leathery bat wings, different textures apart from the classic feathers.
