We photograph families of all ages from newborn, to younger children all the way through to adolescence.

Your photography experience will take approximately 3 hours. Beginning with your family photography session and ending with your design consultation.

Our studio is a large space designed for you to be comfortable and kids to run around. We have baby change facilities, children’s toys, bubbles, balloons and change rooms.

Absolutely!
We have plans where you can spread your payments over 3, 6, 12, 24 or 36 months, zero interest and instalments starting from $50 per fortnight.
The exciting thing is that you get to take your artwork home whilst you are paying it off.

Don’t worry! Our photographers let kids be themselves and that’s how we capture their personalities. We have plenty of time to get our shots.

Our studio specialises in gallery quality printed artwork and with all purchased products you will receive a fully edited, digital copy of those photos you have purchased at the same metric size, to keep for your archive and to share online.

Our studio has a few props however we ask for you to bring sentimental items, kids toys, sporting gear and props that are meaningful to you. We want your photos to be about you and your family so personal items make great elements in the photos - have fun and be creative!

We open our studio diary 3 weeks in advance with most of our clients booking their shoots over the next 2-3 weeks. Our sessions are in high demand, so we recommend calling the studio on 6245 3150 or emailing on info@zestphotography.com.au to find out availabilities.

The theme of your family photoshoot depends on your personal preference and the end goal of the images. If you need a framed canvas or acrylic of the family for a certain wall, it helps to plan a family photoshoot that matches the theme of the room. Common themes for the setting and clothing of family photography are nature, lifestyle, seasonal, and unique family traditions.

Wear whatever aligns with the theme you’re trying to achieve at the family photoshoot. Ideally something comfortable and something that can be adapted to be worn differently. Our team can suggest clothing ideas for everyone at your consultation.

Again, this depends on your preferences and the family photos envisioned. In most cases it’s best to dress in a similar fashion to avoid colour clashes, but everyone wearing the same colour will create a more monotone family photoshoot, which usually isn’t recommended.

This depends on what you’re trying to create, but our studio may be limited in some exceptional circumstances. Make sure to check with our team before the day of your family photoshoot.

The best use of family photography is usually having your favourite images framed on canvas or acrylic and displayed around the house. The photos can be enjoyed by your family and anyone who visits for years to come. Alternative uses for family photography are to frame and gift to a relative, especially if they live far away, or print them and add to a scrapbook.
